Emil Jönsson is selected for the Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada, in February 2010 in the Sprint / cross-country skiing. Emil, contestants from Årsunda IF outside Sandviken, is ranked number one in Sweden in a sprint since 2007 and 2008 2nd in the world.

Before this season, has been training well and tests are better than last year. Season this year began well with victory in the Sprint and the 4th place of 15 km at the start of the season in the ridges. At the World Cup races in Kuusamo, Finland Emil came to the finals but ran in the groin. This meant that Emil immediately received treatment for his injury.
